We're constantly working to improve your SpotOn experience by enhancing what you currently use and love. Here is a summary of recent changes.

What's New or Improved

• Open Checks (SpotOn Restaurant Express)

  • Open Checks on Express are now available. With Open Checks on Express, you can send items to the kitchen without payment, add items to the open check, and close out the check at any point after it's been created.

• Add Menu Item Notes and Change the Item Count

  • You can now add notes to an item on the POS, as well as change item quantities, from the item card after an item is added to the cart. Learn more here.

• SpotOn Invoices Page Redesign (SpotOn Dashboard)

  • The new Invoices Page is redesigned for easier discovery, allowing you to quickly find your SpotOn invoices. With more fields visible on the screen, including the due date, amount due, paid status, and more, you can review everything at a glance—no need to download the PDF invoice. Reviewing and locating the right invoice is now faster and more convenient. Check out the new experience.

    

• New Gift Cards, Loyalty, and Deals Settings (SpotOn Dashboard)

  • You can now configure loyalty-earning rules and set up deals for lapsed, birthday, signup, and new customers. Plus, you can now manage eCard Systems gift card settings, including accepting e-gift cards, enabling cash-out with a max limit, and setting a tender name. Find these new time-saving, self-serve settings in your Dashboard under "Account Settings," and click on either “Loyalty & Deals” or “Gift Cards.” Check it out here.

    
    

• Redesigned Automated Deal Templates (SpotOn Loyalty and Deals)

  • Your guests will enjoy the new automated deal email templates for lapsed, birthday, signup, and new customer deals–now designed to look and feel more like your restaurant and with clearer deal redemption instructions.
