We're constantly working to improve your SpotOn experience by enhancing what you currently use and love. Here is a summary of what has changed this past week.


What's New or Improved

  • Bank Account & Tax Forms (SpotOn Dashboard): The Admin Settings page is now called Bank Account & Tax Forms. Along with the new name, the page features a new modern, intuitive design for a smoother experience. It has also been relocated to Settings in the Left Navigation, putting everything in one place for quicker access.

  • Express KDS - Impact Printer Support (Epson U220) - Express KDS now supports the Epson U220B impact printer! Epson U220B is built to withstand the heat and demands of any kitchen. Once connected to the network, it automatically appears in the printer list for assignments, with modifiers printing in red to ensure accurate order fulfillment by kitchen staff.

*NOTE: The Epson U220 impact printer is currently support for Express KDS, and we're working to extend compatibility to the Express point of sale in the coming weeks.

  • Express KDS: The new printer management experience makes setup easier than ever with an intuitive interface that allows you to:

    Assign printers with just a few taps

    View all assigned and available printers in a single, streamlined view

    Easily identify each printer with customizable names

Business Hours Page (SpotOn Dashboard): Manage your business hours effortlessly with the new Business Hours page in your dashboard. Featuring a modern design, you can quickly set your business and holiday hours, ensuring accurate information for your online ordering and delivery systems. Check it out.

  • Dynamic Customer Groups (SpotOn Dashboard): We added "Customers Groups" to the Customers tabs so we can help you automatically segment your guests based on "Best Customers," "Top Spenders," and "Lapsed." You can define Best Customers based on visit frequency, Top Spenders based on total spend, and Lapsed Customers based on time since their last visit. This enables you to send more targeted and tailored campaigns to specific subsets of your guest database instead of all guests. This helps you build stronger relationships, drive more personalized engagement, and ultimately increase customer loyalty and revenue. Check it out.

  • Trigger Based Deals (SpotOn Dashboard): Trigger-based deals (birthday, lapsed, welcome, and sign up) are moving from Account Settings to the side nav under Marketing. This feature is free, but currently not easily accessible in Account Settings > Loyalty & Deals. These changes aim to help you utilize Trigger Based Deals more, which will help you engage with their guests and drive repeat business. Check it out.
