What's New
SpotOn Express adds Card Not Present support
Now, with the ability to manually enter credit card numbers on Express, you can effortlessly take orders over the phone, expanding your sales opportunities. This feature also offers crucial flexibility when the magnetic strip on a card isn't functioning, ensuring you never miss a sale. This added convenience enhances customer service by providing more payment options and keeps your transactions seamless and efficient, regardless of the circumstances. Here's how it works:
Tap the 'Manual CC Entry' payment option in the checkout flow.
The next screen allows you to enter the customer's credit card information.
Item Groupings on POS
We've enhanced the POS experience by grouping items by category and adding dividers. These quality-of-life improvements make it easier to quickly scan and locate items, streamlining the ordering process and improving overall efficiency. This organization ensures faster, more accurate service, enhancing both customer satisfaction and staff productivity.
Reminder: You can customize your button size to achieve the optimal balance of readability. Simply go to the hamburger menu on the top left and select the size that best suits your business needs. Here's what the menu looks like on the 'small' setting:
Screen recorder on POS
We've introduced a screen recorder feature, allowing merchants to easily capture and share what they're experiencing with our support team. This tool streamlines the troubleshooting process, enabling quicker identification and resolution of any issues. From the Diagnostics screen, simply tap on 'Screen Recorder' to start recording. This added functionality enhances communication with support, ensuring that problems are addressed efficiently and effectively, minimizing downtime and keeping your business running smoothly.
Then tap on the green circle to start a recording. Tap on the red square to stop the recording and send the video to our team.
