Feature Enhancements: June 3, 2024

We're constantly working to improve your SpotOn experience by enhancing what you currently use and love. Here is a summary of what has changed this past week.

What's Improved

Express KDS Updates

The latest update enhances operational efficiency and accuracy by displaying order origin on order cards. Now, you can see who created POS orders, identify the terminal ID for kiosk orders (soon to be labeled "Kiosk" in the next KDS release), and track online orders by their originating third-party provider (e.g., DoorDash, GrubHub, UberEats). This information helps streamline order management and provides better visibility for staff.

Additional benefits include improved tap recognition in the navigation menu, prioritizing recently completed orders in the Completed Orders tab for quicker access, and more reliable printer auto-reconnection, ensuring seamless operation and minimal downtime. These enhancements work seamlessly with the KDS, optimizing kitchen workflows and improving overall service quality.
