Kitchen Display System: Prep + Expo Behavior Update
We’ve made an update to how Prep and Expo stations work together to improve order handling and prevent tickets from closing too early.
Prep and Expo will now stay in sync without automatically completing tickets:
Bumping items on Prep will update Expo, but will not close the ticket
Tickets will remain on Expo until they are manually completed
Expo now acts as the final review step before an order is done
This update ensures a more reliable workflow for kitchens using both Prep and Expo.
